Spreadsheets can be used for so many functions. It’s almost impossible to list them all…. Mail merges and automated prompts can make your business look very professional.

How can a spreadsheet help me?

Spreadsheets are fabulous vessels to transfer work between different programmes, but they also save you a lot of time by keeping everything in one place. Wonderful applications can be used with spreadsheets and these can make editing very simple for you as well. Drawing stats on your business is never easier than with a spreadsheet. It’s imperative to see what works and when, and with a bit of training, you will soon realise the many benefits of the spreadsheets.

What is online automation and how can it help me?

Online Automation iis probably one of my favourite skills and is one of the reasons I love working in the Google Applications, because of how they integrate not just with each other, but the access to wonderful add-on's that Google Developers have introduced and allowed us to use. This is how it works... your customer loads information into the form that you have set out... and the spreadsheet automatically produces different letters/documents based on what you require. For example, the applicant may get a personalised email thanking them for their membership application (as an example); and more documents can be produced from the same spreadsheet (at exactly the same time) that may be emailed direct to the treasurer who collects membership fees; and also another document can be sent to the Secretary for her records; and another document can be emailed direct to the 'Welcoming Person'. This is just an example of a multitude of emails/documents that can be sent on the trigger of a form being submitted.

There are many different industries that require different things. I have had musicians who run their lyrics through these programs. A children's party organiser used to use a comprehensive system as a way of keeping an eye on what stock was available on what dates, etc.
